Beware Of Pirated CDs, Identify ORIGINAL MUSIC CDs Is Easy :

A) Check the bottom of a CD, there must be
i) Laser engraved barcode (real code not lines, as far as I know some pirated CDs even have laser engraved lines to confuse you, be extra careful) .
ii) Laser engraved barcode number
iii) Full name, short form or logo of music label along the outer area of the centre hole.
* At least 2 out of the conditions above mentioned must be fufilled.
B) As for pirated copies,
i) There would be totally blank/empty, sometimes, only some random fake lines (not real code) or just a band's name printed along the outer side of the centre hole.
ii) Sometimes (not all the time) you would see TDK, Immation, Verbatim...or other blank CD manufacturer's name on it.
iii) Even numbers of deep scratches frequently appeared near the outer area of the centre hole in order to prevent CDs run out of track during fast duplication.
C) Pirated CDs are low quality, the surface is not coated, you will get hundreds of scratches in less than 5 spins, tracks start skipping after 10-20 spins.The sound quality is obviously bad if you play it loud with good audio system.
D) We suggest you to buy CDs which are properly sealed. There're many websites selling used CDs as new. Never Compromise !
E) Make sure the CD is 100% guaranteed by the related companies, records stores (so that you can go back if there is any queries ).
